I am Cyriaque, a french photographer specialised in nude photography since almost ten years.

I grew up with a mother who used to take a lot of photos. Every moment with friends, or when traveling, she would take pictures. I always saw her with a camera. When she passed away, she left boxes full of photographs. So perhaps this influenced me in a way, even though I was not interested in photography when I was a teenager. I started to take an interest in it when I came to Paris as a student. At that time, I discovered graffiti art and architecture. I had a Minolta film camera and I began exploring the city, trying to capture the things I liked, but with no specific objective in mind. I remember that I was attempting to capture things from different angles than what you would normally go for, paying attention to details rather than large scenes. However, after a while, I felt that this type of photography was too static for me. It wasn't challenging enough. I needed something that would involve human elements. Around 2014, I noticed a French photographer on Facebook who was shooting sensual photography. It was completely new to me. I loved the natural light, the colors, the angles, and the details. I instantly wanted to learn more about him and how he practiced. I had the chance to briefly discuss with him, and he was kind enough to give me a few tips. This is what started what I do today.

The photos I take on the day of the shoot are never pre-planned. I don't have a specific plan in mind beforehand. Each woman is unique, as is the daylight on the shooting day, along with the location and the atmosphere. So, I play with all these elements and capture whatever comes to mind spontaneously. I enjoy experimenting with light and angles. I primarily work in natural light conditions because I believe it best complements my style.

There is no predetermined list of photos to capture. I enjoy creating a scene, pressing the button, and then moving on to the next one. I don't rush; instead, I make the most of what the scene offers by getting close to the subject or stepping back, exploring different angles.

Nude photography entails paying close attention to numerous human factors and emotions involved, such as respect, confidence, and empathy. Each photo shoot represents a unique human experience that contributes to continuous learning.
